Freelance Advocate Role Description

The Freelance Advocate mentors assigned members, supports application quality, and helps drive real outcomes in the WeDemo ecosystem. This is a contribution role with weekly accountability and measurable delivery.

Core Duties

Review assigned mentees weekly and identify who needs intervention
Check in with inactive mentees (7+ days) every week
Score assigned ebook applications within 48 hours
Provide short, constructive feedback on borderline applications
Submit endorsements for standout members
Maintain at least one active gig listing and review applicants fairly

Performance Standard

100% of assigned mentees reviewed each week
100% of assigned applications scored within 48 hours
At least one endorsement per month
At least one active gig listing maintained monthly

Requirements checklist

  • Completed Digital Foundations Roadmap
  • Holds or pursuing Level 1 Certification
  • At least 1 paid gig completed
  • Active member for 60+ days
  • University enrolled or recent graduate
